PFG focuses on discovering, developing, and marketing nature-derived biostimulants, as well as pest management products from microbes and plant extracts for the effective control of invertebrate pests, weeds, and plant diseases.
The Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist is responsible for developing and executing diverse & inclusive recruitment strategies that ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent.
To do so, the Specialist sources, attracts, interviews, hires, and onboards candidates.
This position also assists with developing and administering People & Culture programs such as new hire orientations, learning and development initiatives, training programs, and organizational assessments designed to build engagement and commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Profarm Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Own and drive the staffing process and strategy by managing the complete recruitment process and Talent Relationship Management model from initial contact to on-boarding; including develop and update job descriptions, screen candidates resumes, conduct interviews, background checks, and new hire process.
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process Facilitate onboarding including new hire orientation, legal/company paperwork completion, payroll process set up and benefit enrollment and offboarding process.
Coordinates participation in and represents Profarm Group at job fairs, college and industry events in relation to attracting talent to the organization.
Establish and maintain relationships with managers to stay abreast of current and future personnel needs Work in a team for the design of internal programmes to identify and prepare potential candidates such as the Training of Trainees Generate links with global recruitment teams and implement global practices locally.
Develop and oversee Talent Management initiatives such as a talent review, leadership development, career programs, succession planning, and learning and development.
Manage the administrative processes of hiring recruitment agencies, posting, purchase requests, invoices.

Preferred skills and experience include:
Recruiter / Staffing experience required.
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work skills Expertise on recruiting sources including Indeed, Linkedin, employee referral, other Knowledge of Federal, State, and employment regulations and policies, required.
Knowledge and past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferred Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with ability to quickly learn new software.
Fundamental interviewing skills experience Working knowledge of the Spanish language would be a benefit Ability to work across multiple time zones Key Competencies Must possess and demonstrate very strong customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude Organized with ability to plan work and meet deadlines Must possess a high level of professionalism, discretion and ability to self-manage his/her time from remote locations.
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Capacity to maintain confidentiality Ability to relate effectively with all levels of applicants Strong initiative and solid judgment.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships both within and outside the organization.
Travel requirements Travel up to 40% to conduct HR recruiting events or work temporarily in another location to meet company hiring needs to either our Davis, CA office or Bioceres Headquarters in Argentina.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
