$116K - $146K a year 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago JOB TITLE Director of Finance DEPARTMENT Accounting STATUS Regular/Full time BENEFITS Day 1 Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO) JOB SUMMARY The Director of Finance is responsible for the oversight of general accounting in accordance with GAAP and for the oversight of financial analysis and cost accounting.
The Director of Finance is responsible for the creation of budgets, financial forecasts and analysis that support company decision making.
In addition, this position acts as financial advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors by providing financial analysis, planning and budget control.
RESPONSIBILITIES Finance and Accounting Direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax and accounting activities, including cost accounting, for the organization.
Responsible for organization's overall financial projections, plans, and accounting practices.
Supports and often participates in developing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Responsible for accurate and timely financial information entry, compilation, and reporting.
Supports and often participates in the monthly and annual financial close activities.
Solicit, evaluate, and select funding options from financial institutions which comply with Board resolutions regarding debt to equity and capitalization covenants.
Audit and Risk Management Lead annual audit coordination effort with external auditor.
Supports and often participates in activities related to the annual audit.
Along with the CEO, responsible for recommending to the company Board of Directors a CPA firm to conduct annual audit of financial and 401(k) statements.
Lead search process as appropriate.
Responsible for the organization's risk management activities, including selection of insurance agents and carriers.
Leadership Along with the CEO, responsible for maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
Present financial information to the organization's Board of Directors.
Serves on the Company 401(k) Fiduciary Committee.
Provide leadership to the organization as part of senior management.
Maintain departmental budget.
Maintain a positive working relationship with Getman Corporation employees and create a cooperative and productive work environment.
Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives and plans.
Perform other duties as required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
