Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm InterCare Community Health Network (ICHN), is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), We provide quality medical, dental, mental health, and OBGYN services through board certified physicians and evidence-based practices to ensure that the whole patient receives the highest quality in care.
Job Summary This is a hybrid-remote position that requires 30-days in office training.
After 30-days, may be eligible to work a hybrid-remote schedule which will include 2 days in the office 3 days at home.
Responsible for preparation, review, and submission of electronic insurance claims.
Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Private insurance billing and reimbursement process.
Assist with other billing and coding duties, (chart audits, insurance verifications).
Requirements:
Primary Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Certified professional coder required One year of billing experience required Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications Benefits At InterCare, you'll find a rewarding and challenging work environment and a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
