Purchasing Manager JOB SUMMARY This position buys both direct and indirect material used to build high quality vehicles and components to support manufacturing and aftermarket part sales; helps to manage suppliers, develops bids, verifies and acts on PO suggestions daily, assists in make vs.
buy analysis, places orders and expedites material used in the manufacturing of product.
Support of Senior Buyer(s) and Buyer(s) as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and process purchase orders suggestions and purchase order acknowledgements, including maintaining and updating due dates from suppliers.
Enter pricing, lead time, and adjust the MRP flag for new part numbers and input supplier pricing and lead time updates as directed by other buyers if required.
Transmit purchase orders to suppliers and follow up to assure acknowledgements are received.
Escalate non-compliance by suppliers to the appropriate Buyer.
Generate purchase requirements for assigned suppliers, commodities, parts, and services.
Assist in negotiating and managing a supply base and execute strategic supply base strategies for their assigned base.
Support activities to manage, maintain, and implement contracts and purchase orders and the associated databases; and with supplier performance monitoring.
Assist in make/buy analysis to make decisions on outsourced supplier parts and other analyses.
Expedite as required for assigned suppliers/parts/services.
Work with suppliers and accounts payables to reconcile payable discrepancies.
Maintain system integrity related to supplier information (Including but not limited to:
New Part Setups, Price Lists & Part Maintenance).
Negotiate year-over-year cost and quality improvements and create greater value for Getman.
Lead improvements in efficiency and effectiveness within Purchasing and other teams that support operations throughput.
Maintain a positive working relationship with Getman Corporation employees and suppliers to ensure a cooperative and productive work environment.
Managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) timelines and progress Schedule and arrange meetings, events, training sessions and travel plans.
File documents electronically and/or manually.
All other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.

S) in Business Management and/or 1-3 years Supply Chain related experience in operations, procurement, planning or logistics.
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
